ITF materials to combat violence; let's hear about your work

Alison McGarry: Violence against women in any form is endemic in most societies in the world. The ITF women's committee has fought this issue with the support of men as well as women. We do congratulate our brothers for their support. This year we will be producing a 40-page action guide against violence with practical, day-to-day examples of materials - used in collective bargaining, for public transport and across the industry. We will translate the guide into Arabic; but you are the people who have to translate the material into action programmes! We look toward to hearing from you, Tell us what you are doing!

ITF EB women's committee resolution asking affiliate support on 25th November, we are manding our affiliates to undertake that and come back to EB in October.

We can build up power and make sure that women's lives are meanginfully fought and will bring people to our unions.
